Setting a flat fee logic is not practical if a sale occurs through eBay global shipping, if the account is private or business account with different fee structures or if eBay amends their fees. These processes have different fee structures and not static.

It makes logical sense for a user to have the sale amount and the actual eBay fees so they can know their eBay profit rather than having to go back through the eBay platform to obtain fees etc.
